Advice for your wedding
How much wine do you need: When providing wine throughout a meal, the general rule is around half a bottle per person. This can sometimes sound like a lot but it should help to ensure you don't run out. You can expect to get 5 glasses out of each bottle, this gives each person two and a half glasses. For any sparkiling you can get a bit more, with about 8 or 9 glasses out of a bottle of bubbly. The usual split between red and white is half and half but this can vary depending on your guests, the menu and the time of year.
Food matching: All the wines on our website come with a food matching and we will be more than happy to advise you further on your selection based on what is on the menu.
Negotiation of corkage: Almost all hotels will charge a handling fee for each bottle opened. On most occasions there is significant room for negotiating so we always recommend you bargain hard. They will want your wedding and will not want to lose you over an excessive corkage fee.
All of the wines on our website are available for your wedding and we will do our best to pick the right wines for you but below are a selection of the wines that we think are best suited, and offer you great value. As with all matters, you can always contact us at email@example.com for all your wedding queries.
